Forests occupy approximately 52% of Latvia’s territory and are expanding every year, which creates a great opportunity to use this natural resource and work in the wood processing industry.
KORNBEST saw this opportunity and has been producing veneers since 2021. The veneer produced by KORNBEST is multifunctional and is suitable for various applications, from the production of household items to construction.
The factory covers an 18-hectare site in Olaine, Latvia. We are at a highly advantageous geographic location, which makes it easier to deliver veneer to our business partners by both land and sea.

Company History
SIA Kornbest is a member of Kangda, a company with over 40 years of wood processing history.
Established in 1982, Kangda is one of the earliest and best-engineered wood manufacturers in China.
Over the past decades, Kangda's products have been widely distributed in the United States, Europe, and Japan.
In 2016, Kangda relocated its production lines to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
In 2018, SIA Kornbest was established in Latvia to embrace the challenges and opportunities of a new era.
In 2023, Kangda commenced birch plywood production.

Our factory
SIA "Kornbest" is a professional veneer manufacturer based in Latvia. Established in 2018, the company specializes in producing high-quality rotary peeled veneers for plywood and furniture manufacturers.

Our production capacity is 4,000 cubic meters per month, offering sizes from 4 feet, 6 feet, to 8 feet. Orders are shipped within 8-9 days after placement.
● Providing 100% Baltic Birch
We use and process birch from the Baltic region, ensuring clear log tracking information for our customers.
